We are Mediabirds
A modern full-service web agency, a web design agency, a creative digital agency. We develop and optimise distinctive websites and web applications, creatively combining strategy, design and development. We work for many large (international) clients. So there is no shortage of diversity and challenges!
As a developer at Mediabirds, you work together with the team on the development of unique web applications. We want to strengthen our team with someone with experience, preferably at a digital agency (or similar). Someone who thinks along during the design and technical design process. Do you enjoy working in a team within an enthusiastic, young and fast-growing organisation?
Who are we looking for?
First and foremost, you are a professional with passion for the field and the ambition to grow yourself and others around you. You have good communication skills in both English and Dutch. You are an enthusiastic, positive force and can work well independently as well as functioning within a team. You think in solutions and are able to spar with colleagues.
In addition, you have experience with:
- HTML and CSS
- HTML and CSS hold no secrets for you
- Javascript
- Solid JavaScript knowledge (recent ECMAscript versions)
- Javascript frameworks
- Front-End JavaScript frameworks (React or Next.js is an advantage)
- Typescript
- Experience with Typescript (plus)
- SEO
- Knowledge of SEO, performance, accessibility and best practices for Websites
- Node.js
- Working experience as a full-stack Node.JS developer is a plus
- Headless CMS
- Experience with a headless CMS (Knowledge of Strapi is a plus)
- Databases and APIs
- Knowledge of working securely with databases and APIs
- GIT
- Experience with Git
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Experience with Testing and Monitoring (preferred)
- PHP and WordPress
- Experience with PHP and WordPress (pré)
